Overview

The professional master's degree in animal science trains animal production engineers. It deepens nutrition and feeding, genetics and breed improvement, reproduction, herd health and the economics of the milk, meat and poultry value chains.

The program prepares students to design and run modern livestock units, lead genetic improvement programs and support the development of animal value chains.

Curriculum

First year (S1-S2): advanced animal nutrition and feeding, quantitative genetics, reproductive physiology, herd health, biostatistics, value chain economics.

Second year (S3-S4): livestock systems, intensive poultry and dairy production, animal product quality, project engineering, management, long internship and master's dissertation.
