Overview
The technology diploma (DUT) in artificial insemination trains technicians specialising in farm animal reproduction. Students learn reproductive anatomy and physiology, heat detection, cycle synchronisation, semen handling and insemination technique.
This specialism contributes directly to herd genetic improvement and higher milk and meat production.
Objectives

Curriculum
First year (S1-S2): animal biology and anatomy, physiology, livestock basics, genetics, animal feeding, computing.
Second year (S3-S4): reproductive physiology, insemination techniques, reproductive biotechnology, genetic improvement, reproductive hygiene and health, on-farm internship.
